Murata commercializes its LQM18DH_70 series for the Vehicle power supply circuit

Murata LQM18DH_70 series

Murata has begun mass production of its LQM18DH_70 series of multilayer inductors, which are low-frequency noise suppression components for automotive power circuits.

With the advancement of unmanned driving technologies such as ADAS, cars are gradually becoming electrified. Various electronic devices such as on-board cameras, radars, LiDARs, and ECUs have been used in automobiles. However, due to the limited installation space, the components must be small and capable of handling high-temperature environments.

To provide a stable power supply, it is necessary to ensure that low-frequency noise caused by the DC-DC converter does not enter the signal line. Murata commercializes 0603-inch inductors that are smaller than conventional inductors and can handle high-temperature environments (150°C) with high inductance (6.8~47uH) to solve the problem of low-frequency noise.

The LQM18DH_70 series is a small 0603inch with a maximum operating temperature of 150°C. Combined with the BLM series of chip ferrite beads that have high-frequency noise suppression can eliminate wider band noise.
